Women's Circle 2.0 brings women's health, the menstrual cycle and plant medicine into one intimate Somerset retreat

The two-day event will bring together 25 women for honest conversations around the menstrual cycle, supporting the body, period pain, nutrition, exercise and plant medicine education.

Following the first successful Women's Circle event in 2025, Women's Circle 2.0 will focus on "Women's Health First", with this year's programme centered specifically around the menstrual cycle, how the body changes throughout it and how women can better understand and support themselves with plant medicine at different stages of their cycle.

The intimate weekend will create space for open conversations around traditionally under discussed subjects including periods, hormones, period pain, endometriosis and PMDD, alongside education and nutrition, exercise, wellbeing and plant medicine.

The weekend will feature expert led talks and live Q&As, practical education, wellness activities, and time for connection. The programme is designed to give attendees space to learn, ask questions and have conversations that can often be missing from everyday healthcare and wellness discussions.

"I'm incredibly proud to be bringing the Women's Circle back for its second gathering, creating a space where women can come together, learn more about their cycles, understand their bodies and feel empowered to support themselves better. We're also continuing to challenge the stigma around medical cannabis and helping women see it for what it can be: another tool in our box." Sophie East, Founder of The Women's Circle and Co Founder of Plantz

A key part of the weekend will be exploring where medical cannabis and plant medicine fit within the menstrual health conversation. Rather than presenting cannabis as the answer to every health concern, Women's Circle 2.0 will focus on patient education and providing women with the information needed to make more informed decisions about their own wellbeing and understand where plant medicine could fit into their individual health journeys.

Expert speaker sessions from Dr. Shabnam Sarshar, Dr. Callie Seaman, Charlotte "The Period Rebel", and more will explore the menstrual cycle and the physiological and hormonal changes that take place throughout it, nutrition and exercise across the cycle, period pain and women's experiences of pain, as well as medical cannabis, routes of administration and patient education.

"Pain, mood, sleep, thermoregulation: the endocannabinoid system touches all of it. That makes it one of the most clinically relevant systems in women's health, and one of the least discussed." Dr. Shabnam Sarshar, speaker at Women's Circle 2.0

Set in the Somerset countryside, Women's Circle 2.0 is deliberately limited to 25 places, creating a more personal environment for discussion and connection. Alongside the educational programme, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in activities including yoga, sound therapy, wild swimming, sauna sessions, walks and an outdoor cinema, with time built into the weekend to simply slow down and connect.

The weekend is being supported by a group of brands and organisations working across the medical cannabis, plant medicine and wellness spaces. Aurora joins the event as headline sponsor, alongside Cantourage, Dr. Dabber and PAX, with additional partners contributing to the attendee experience and curated goodie bags provided for guests of Women's Circle 2.0.

Women's Circle 2.0 is the second chapter in a wider series of Women's Circle events, with each gathering exploring a different area of women's health and plant medicine. Following the focus of the menstrual cycle at 2.0, future gatherings will explore other stages and aspects of women's health, including menopause and sex and cannabis. Together, the events are designed to create an ongoing journey of education, conversation and community around women's bodies and plant medicine.

Applications are currently open for women who want to be part of the weekend and the wider Women's Circle community. To find out more and register your interest, visit plantz.io/womens-circle-2-0.

ABOUT WOMEN'S CIRCLE 2.0

Plantz

Plantz is on a mission to break the stigma surrounding women who use plant medicine or are simply curious about its potential. We believe education, community and open conversation have the power to change perceptions. Our vision is a future where plant medicine is understood, accepted and trusted, where it sits in every home as naturally as everyday remedies like paracetamol. Until then, we'll keep educating, empowering and connecting people through the power of plants. For more information, visit plantz.io/womens-circle-2-0.
