My agoraphobia faded, my pain became manageable, and I was able to leave my abuser.
The Women's Circle is a community of like minded women learning more about their bodies, challenging outdated conversations around women's health and discovering new ways to support themselves.
From nutrition and natural remedies to wellness and plant medicine, we believe women deserve to have more knowledge, more choice and more tools in their box. This is education, advocacy and women coming together to change the conversation.

10 to 11 October 2026, Somerset. A full weekend on energy, mood, movement, nutrition and pain across the female cycle, with brilliant speakers, our partners and a room full of incredible women.
“Seeing Women’s Circle 2.0 in full flow was a real dream come true. What started as an idea in my heart has grown into a beautiful community of women connecting, sharing, learning and lifting each other up. Watching that vision come to life is something I’ll never be able to put into words. This is so much bigger than me now, and I can’t wait to see where our movement grows next. The best is yet to come. ๐ฉท”
Attendees, speakers and partners on what the weekend meant to them, in their own words.
For once, I didnโt have to be a mum, a partner or the person holding everything together. I just got to be me.
I arrived at the Womenโs Circle feeling completely stuck in a rut. Life had become overwhelming, and somewhere between being a mum, a partner and trying to hold everything together, Iโd lost that connection with myself.
I went thinking Iโd learn a few new things, but I came home with so much more than I ever expected.
One of the biggest eye-openers for me was learning about our menstrual cycles, especially the luteal phase, and realising just how many other women experience the same struggles in the lead-up to their periods. Learning about seed cycling, cycle syncing and how we can better support our bodies through nutrition has completely changed how I look at my own health.
Something else that fascinated me was how many of us were experiencing our periods over the same weekend, including a woman who hadnโt had one in three months! Whether it was coincidence or not, it sparked some amazing conversations about just how incredible womenโs bodies are.
But the most special part was the women themselves. Different ages, backgrounds, cultures and walks of life, yet there was this incredible sense of connection between us all. I usually struggle with anxiety, but I didnโt experience it once throughout the entire weekend. I felt completely accepted, understood and empowered.
For once, I didnโt have to be a mum, a partner or the person holding everything together. I just got to be me. And I donโt think I realised how badly I needed that until I was there.
Since coming home, Iโve felt a motivation I havenโt had in a long time. Iโve been making healthier changes to both my own diet and my childrenโs, taking more time for myself in the mornings and learning that self-care isnโt something I need to earn. Itโs something I deserve.
I arrived hoping to gain some knowledge, but I left with incredible friendships, a new appreciation for my body and a confidence in myself that Iโd been missing for far too long.
The Womenโs Circle wasnโt just a weekend away. It was a reminder of who I am outside of everything I do for everyone else, and thatโs something Iโll carry with me for a very long time. โค๏ธ
I know weโre probably supposed to leave a retreat feeling all zen and relaxed, but I feel more fired up than ever to keep talking about this and push for change.
Iโve been thinking a lot about the women I met and the stories I heard, and at the root of every one was this endless fight to get answers, to be heard about their symptoms and believed.
These are women who are more educated about their conditions than their doctors, because they have no other choice. These are women who are labelled difficult or dramatic because they are in chronic pain or suffering from conditions that donโt get the research they deserve.
In my work, I use a lot of statistics to justify or convince others of misogyny in healthcare, but I think the real stories get lost amidst those numbers.
I know weโre probably supposed to leave a retreat feeling all zen and relaxed, but I feel more fired up than ever to keep talking about this and push for change. I think thatโs what made this womenโs circle so unique; itโs about creating a movement, and that is far more powerful when we join together.
Iโve never been in a space where Iโve been surrounded by so much knowledge, yet felt so comfortable asking the questions I never thought I could.
Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of such an inspiring and meaningful movement for the second time. โค๏ธ
Iโve never been in a space where Iโve been surrounded by so much knowledge, yet felt so comfortable asking the questions I never thought I could. Once again I came away feeling empowered, more informed, and equipped with knowledge that can make such a positive difference to my life.
Iโm so grateful to have been part of this experience and meeting such lovely people โจ
I believe each attendee left with more knowledge than when they arrived. Not just from the spectacular speakers, but also from the casual conversations with one another.
Now that Iโve had a chance to process my emotions around the event, it has struck me just how powerful women coming together as a community can be.
There were over twenty attendees, all from different walks of life, all with different perspectives, but all shared a commonality: we all wanted to break the stigma linked to the menstrual cycle.
Women talking together about their menstrual cycles felt incredibly empowering to me. There is still so much shame and stigma around periods, but given that half the population will experience periods, they really shouldnโt be a taboo topic whatsoever.
This is why events such as The Womenโs Circle matter so much. There is no shame in our menstrual cycle, nor in the tools we use to support it; whether that be through nutrition, exercise, or even cannabis, all are valid tools in the womenโs wellness toolkit.
The more women talk openly and honestly about these topics, the more the knowledge will spread.
I believe each attendee last weekend left with more knowledge than when they arrived. Not just from the spectacular speakers, but also from the casual conversation with one another. I know I certainly did ๐
Most of all, I loved being surrounded by such a supportive and empowering group of women. I left feeling inspired, grateful, and empowered.
I took so much away from this beautiful womenโs circle. I learned new things about periods, hormones, and womenโs health, particularly how we can nourish our bodies throughout our menstrual cycles.
Most of all, I loved being surrounded by such a supportive and empowering group of women. It was a lovely reminder of the importance of sharing knowledge, learning from one another, and creating spaces where we can openly talk about womenโs health. I left feeling inspired, grateful, and empowered. ๐
It overflowed with authenticity from the speakers, the host and the chef. We all felt held in a special way.
I feel that the event provided a safe space for women to express themselves. They asked questions without feeling judged. They were eager to learn and support each other.
The atmosphere was non-judgemental and inclusive. All questions were answered with such purity that they felt understood and heard.
The event was curated in such a loving way that beautiful friendships were built, and their bodies synced into one; their cycles started flowing.
It overflowed with authenticity from the speakers, the host and the chef. We all felt held in a special way.
I will recommend this event to any woman who is willing to empower others and be empowered at the same time.
Every woman deserves to feel heard, understood and empowered to explore the options available to her.
What an incredible experience it was to be part of such a beautiful and empowering womenโs circle! ๐ฉท
It was truly eye-opening to learn more about my own body and explore how plant medicine, particularly cannabis, can support womenโs health and wellbeing.
I feel so honoured to have been part of such an important conversation, surrounded by inspiring women sharing their knowledge, experiences and stories.
My biggest hope is that conversations like these continue to grow and that one day this knowledge and access to plant medicine will be widely available to women across the country. No woman should have to suffer in silence or feel that relief is out of reach.
Every woman deserves to feel heard, understood and empowered to explore the options available to her. ๐ฟ
Iโm incredibly grateful to have been part of something that I believe is a step towards a more compassionate and informed approach to womenโs health. ๐
Women from all walks of life, coming together not to compete, but for a weekend of healing moments and sisterhood.
I was beyond grateful to be part of this yearโs Womenโs Circle, filled with women from all walks of life, coming together to share knowledge, create a safe space to ask for advice and bring women together, not to compete, but for a weekend of healing moments and sisterhood.
I left with memories I will treasure for a lifetime, a circle of women I can turn to for help and advice, as well as tailored knowledge to help not only myself as a medical cannabis patient but other patients I support. As well as connections that will enable me to continue to learn, advocate and help as many patients as possible.
To Sophie and to every single member of the incredible team, thank you. ๐
Powerful feminine energy, open conversations and so much to learn from each other.
Womenโs Circle 2.0 was such a beautiful experience ๐ From surreal cycle syncing to learning about the endocannabinoid system and seed cycling, I took away so much.
Being able to listen to and speak with the doctors and clinicians was really inspiring. Alongside the yoga and meditation, what made it so special was coming together with so many women in such a welcoming space.
Powerful feminine energy, open conversations and so much to learn from each other โจ
Gathering with like-minded people is so important for our mental health, and this event achieved a strengthening of the community.
The Womenโs Circle brought together women from different communities from across the country, all interested in learning how to heal themselves through nutrition, plant medicine and a better understanding of their bodies.
Gathering with like-minded people is so important for our mental health, and this event achieved a strengthening of the community.
It was a privilege to capture the heart of the event and help tell its story through our lens.
Being part of the Womenโs Circle and capturing the energy of the weekend was such a special experience for The Production Packet.

Mood, Mind & Midlife
Perimenopause through a psychologist’s lens and her own lived experience: her story, the thinking behind her work, and what midlife can look like when women have more choice.
Dr Michelle Nyangereka is an HCPC-registered counselling psychologist and member of the British Psychological Society, with 15 years in practice and a private practice based in London. She is the founder of Our Mothers’ Gardens, a UK medical cannabis company focused on women in peri-, meno- and post-menopause, and an established speaker and key opinion leader at the intersection of cannabis and women’s health.
Dr Michelle moved into the UK medical cannabis industry to create the solutions she was looking for herself. While writing her doctoral thesis on intergenerational trauma, she experienced first-hand how trauma, stress and autoimmunity can interact during perimenopause. The ten years that followed became a journey of discovery into the endocannabinoid system and a holistic approach to her own health. She now works to bring that understanding to other women, combining clinical psychology, lived experience and cannabinoid science to support quality of life through midlife and beyond.

A community that keeps meeting long after the room empties, owning our health, our stories, and our power.
Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.Audre Lorde
Sophie has spent her career inside the cannabis industry, and just as long watching women get left out of the conversation around it. The Women's Circle grew out of that gap. She's on a mission to strip the stigma from this plant until it's finally seen for what it is: just another tool in our box, sitting alongside everything else we reach for to feel well.
That means changing how we talk about plant medicine and natural wellness, and it means changing how women talk about their own bodies: periods, hormones, pain, sex, all of it, out loud and without apology. Every circle, every interview and every partnership exists to do one thing: help women feel informed, supported, and like the best version of themselves.
"I want this plant seen for what it is: just another tool in our box."
